Cooking up a successful youth

I was encouraged to see in the Kilmarnock Standard this week a positive story on how young people across Kilmarnock are taking part in a programme to further their skills and improve their employment chances.
The Princes Trust programme ‘Get into Cooking’ is a fantastic way for allowing professional chefs to teach young people necessary life skills such as cooking for themselves, team work, problem solving and communication.
This programme will hopefully support the young people involved into getting employment and may even courage them to cook healthy fresh food rather than microwave meals.  During these difficult times the voluntary sector is key to providing high quality services to our young people and vulnerable adults.
